Office Hours

Mon - Fri: 8:30am - 4:30pm

New Patients

If this is your first time seeing Dr. Sidney, you should plan on spending about 1 — 1 ½ hours. Dr. Sidney will discuss your detailed health and heart history and spend time educating you about your condition, how it is treated, and what to expect.

In order to get the most from your appointment, here are some things you can do to make your visit more meaningful:

  • Check with Your Referring Doctor

Make sure that all of your previous cardiac and electrophysiological records such as EKG, operations reports, echo reports, stress test and home monitoring results have been sent to our office. Our fax number is (843) 553-2123.

  • Bring a List of Your Current Medications

Include the name, dose, and frequency of use. A list of any medication allergies is also helpful.

  • Bring a List of Your Current Health Care Providers

This will help ensure that communication between your cardiologist and all of your other care providers is complete.

  • Compile a List of Your Past Health History

  • Compile a Family Health History of Close Blood Relatives

  • Bring in Copies of Any Recent Lab or Test Results

  • Bring a List of Questions Concerning Your Condition

Please make sure to bring the appropriate patient forms to your visit.

Patients are seen by appointment – on the same day the appointment is made if possible. To schedule an appointment, please call (843) 863-5600 during regular business hours.

Please call in advance for office visits. Make follow-up appointments as you leave. We make every effort to stay on schedule although emergencies do arise. If we are seriously delayed, we attempt to notify patients beforehand.

Billing

We require payment of your co-payment and past-due account balances at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, debit and all major credit cards.

Insurance

We will submit claims to most major insurance carriers. Please bring your insurance card and I.D. with you to every visit so we can ensure that our records are accurate.

We recommend that you call your insurance company to verify that we participate with your plan.

Please notify us if you have any change in your name, phone number, address, or insurance as soon as it occurs. And please be prepared to present your insurance card at every visit.

Cancellations or Rescheduling

To better serve the needs of all our patients, we ask that you call at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule appointments. We make every effort to stay on schedule, although emergencies arise.

We are happy to help with refill requests during regular office hours, so please call us at (843) 863-5600 to let us know what you need.
